An attempt at Somali Calligraphy

• My attempt at Osmanya Calligraphy. Did this a couple of years ago.

• Osmanya calligraphy was sometimes used in Somalia before 1972 when Siaad Barre adopted the latin alphabet. It’s suppose to say, “Bismillah” but I probably wrote it wrong.

BTW I’m not a painter or anything like that just did this for fun so don’t judge 🙂
